A+ hospitality
In January 2017 my boyfriend and I were the first people to stay at this lovely casita and we returned for another week this January. Laura and Thomas are very attentive and we highly recommend them and their casita. We love the PG area and to get away from the normal rat-race of tourists such as in Placencia. Immerse yourselves into the local culture, talk to the locals, eat the fresh fruits and fish from the markets and explore!

Well maintained comfortable property.
We appreciated this sparkling Casita. It was comfortable, well stocked and really pretty. Well worth the cost. I enjoyed the pool, the landscaping and the company. When visiting Belize again we will likely stay even longer.

Peaceful with great hosts
This place was very peaceful and Laura and Thomas were awesome!! We could hear the howler monkeys from outside early in the morning which was very cool!! The pool was very nice after the hot days too! Laura and Thomas had great suggestions for food and what to do with the time we had left. Thank you both very much.

Punta Gorda Private Casita
Fantastic place to stay and get recharged. Very quiet and away from it all. Not too far from town or the sea, but far enough down a lovely dirt road. The Casita was nicely maintained; clean well equipped kitchen and bathroom. Pool was nice to have for early morning or late evening swims. Great attention was put to the all native garden that surrounds the property.

Great property, great people!
We stayed for 5 days in June. Loved the pool as it was hot and such a great way to cool down. The AC is a wall unit in 1 bedroom but cooled down the rest of the casita nicely. Spent a lot of time in the hammock, pool or patio. Hosts Donna and Pete were warm and welcoming; Pete did a great job with the pool and we loved biking into town.
The property is about 1 mile from the sea and is looks out on a field and beautiful landscaping. We will be back!

Lovely cottage for a relaxing holiday.
The little house felt homey and was easy to live in. Since there were two couples though, we probably Would have been more comfortable in the bigger house because there was AC in only one of the bedrooms. The owner was very helpful and enriched our stay. The guest book is an excellent guide to fun things to do in the area. The house was well equipped to make a vacation stay easy. The pool was a delight for a late afternoon cool down. Bird watching was easy! We enjoyed our stay and would recommend the house to others.

Fantastic! Cute, well equipped, peaceful, clean, and a great pool!
Far different from Ambergris Caye and Placencia, Punta Gorda offers a truly authentic Belizian experience! This property is in a safe location at the end of town, close enough for shopping at the outdoor veggie/fruit market, fish market or trying the restaurants (taxi for a couple dollars), and far enough to be in a quiet area where you can listen to the vast array of birds and occasionally hear the howler monkeys! Our host, Thomas, was accommodating and helpful and ensured we always had everything we needed...water, coffee, towels, etc. We loved sitting by the clean and refreshing pool on the days that we didn't head off on an adventure! Would recommend renting a vehicle and visiting Blue Creek Caves as well as Rio Blanco waterfalls! A trip with Roberto (Wild Thing tours) to see Frenchman's Lagoon and snorkel Snake Cayes is an awesome day as well...We were lucky enough to spot baby Manatees and dolphins! The only suggestions for improvements that we could come up with were poolside lounge chairs and a blender! Other than that this little house was perfect! I'm sure it is the best rental in Punta Gorda! Thanks again Thomas!

Perfect place to stay in Punta Gorda! A clean home with a well equipped kitchen and a great pool!
If you are looking for an authentic Belizian experience, you will find it in Punta Gorda! We could not have had a better rental for the week that we spent there! The cute little home is newly remodeled and has actual mattresses and box springs...uncommon to find here! Thomas (owner) lives in the house beside it and ensured that we did not want for anything! It was a quiet and private location and we loved listening for howler monkeys and hearing the vast array of birds singing as we sat by the pool! Highly recommend you rent a car and explore the area! Blue Creek Caves (drive yourself and get Mr Pho to guide you in), Rio Blanco waterfalls (self tour the jungle and swimming hole) the Snake Cayes and Frenchman's lagoon (Roberto is a great guide for this) are all fantastic! Thank you so much Thomas!! You're a great host and we loved your home!

Beautiful Accomidations in an absolute Beautiful Location
Thomas and Laura went over and beyond. The local
Is amazing and super safe. The people of PG or awesome. The accommodations are far superior to any others seen or considered. Thomas washed our rental Car while we were on excursion. I ran in the morning. Along the ocean and threw down town. Felt very safe. Visited Boom Creek village on our own and loved the people and dogs. Thomas led us to Ashas Custom Kitchen the first night for dinner.
The casita is everthing the pictures show and more. A/C in the bedroom is more then adequate.
Market has fresh fruit and vegetables every day. They advertise the market is open every other but there is always some one there. Also the fish market has catch if the day early morning.
I can not say enough about this location, town and people.
