We always want to be close to the water where we stay and this house is perfect for that. All kinds of amenities for lake loving guests. Stayed on the back porch when I wasn’t at the lake’s edge. It was just right for the outdoors kind of person.

We enjoyed the property as a base to explore from Toledo to Port Clinton. We fished two days with local captains and had a great time. There were 4 of us and the house was more than sufficient. If you were bringing a big group it might feel small. The second bedroom holds several but everyone shares a single bathroom. Also be aware there is no washer or dryer for use in the home. The inside and out are well maintained and the hosts were very helpful and easy to deal with. The weather was great while we were there and we enjoyed ourselves. The access to the lake is okay but not much beach area. If you want to enjoy that you need to go to a public beach area like in Pirt Clinton.

I was impressed with the location of the property near the lake and the amenities and it was very comfortable. My husband and I slept well. It was clean and we had everything we needed to make our stay comfortable. It was nice to have the TVs in all 3 rooms although we just used one. The bathroom was clean and the showerhead had the perfect water pressure. The 3 season room was very nice to sit and hang out and very fun. It was the perfect place to have our 1 year old stay with us comfortably. The owners are very communicative and information was readily available and easy to access. The surrounding area was very quiet and a nice location for us to get away from Southern Ohio. Thank you for making our first trip away as a family unforgettable.

We were sad this house wasn't right beside the others, it made some things more difficult. However, the house was really clean, and we loved all the fun games and the great patio!

Very happy we chose this place as our homebase during the Biggest Week in American Birding festival! The location was perfect and close to all of the great birding spots. You can even bird right in this quiet, friendly neighborhood, which we did. :) ... The cottage was super clean and had so many features and amenities (I wish we could have stayed longer to take advantage of them all! Bikes, firewood, a huge, enclosed sunroom, you name it!). One more bathroom/powder room would have been nice, but we had a small enough group (6) that it wasn't an issue. Stacy was very accommodating and easy to communicate with! We will definitely be back (hopefully next year!)

The house was clean, beds were comfortable, plenty of room for 6 guys. Plenty of bath and hand towels. Only having 1 bath is tight but we worked around each other. The fire pit was nice to have and there are plenty of chairs in the shed. The kitchen was well stocked, there are grilling tools, and plenty of fridge space with the dorm size fridge on the screen porch. If you are fishing out of Wild Wings Marina this house is very convenient. It is a long drive to restaurants and stores so best to pick up supplies on your way there. Wild Wings has a store, but you'll pay a premium there.

We had a great time even though the weather did not cooperate. The house was comfortable and had all the necessary item for the stay. Had my 10 year old Grandson with us the pinball machine was a hit. Thanks for everything, we discussed doing this again next year and everyone agreed if we do would rent the Anchor cottage again. Stacie was great to deal with. The property was just as advertised. Many great amenities. Great towels and linens. Super fast internet. Please note that the Google Maps Street view image is very dated. The outside of the property has been updated since that photo was taken. Everything outside is very well kept.
