Three high school friends and myself had a lovely three night visit at this great beach house. A bottle of wine greeted us. The house is set up to accommodate many more people for sleeping and dining as well as lots of room to sit on the Lanai and inside. There is a small beach immediately in front of the house which is perfect for a small group. We found some very nice pieces of beach glass. The Magee bird sanctuary and another Wildlife reserve, within a mile of Magee, are close by. We spent a day at Put in Bay, a great place for shopping and eating and another half day at the Marblehead lighthouse. Good places to eat are within a half hour in Port Clinton to the east and a bit further in Perrysburg to the west. But if you are just looking for a great place to settle in, and visit with family or friends, this place fits the bill. You can enjoy sunrise and sunset. Beds are plentiful and comfy. Games are provided. Kitchen is well equipped. It has everything you want or need except for the food.

The house was spacious and clean. The kitchen has everything you need to prepare and serve meals. It’s a great location. Fred and Cheryl were wonderful to work with!

The House sits in a pleasant location on Lake Erie and the views from the screened in patio and upstairs are really nice. The neighborhood is peaceful and secluded. Little to no traffic. Older house that’s kept up relatively well and has a comfortable feel about it. Tastefully decorated with beach and lake items. You have your own little private beach. We did not swim, but the owner has furnished plenty of beach items for the kids. Bedrooms are spacious and comfy. The kitchen is well stocked with most everything you will need for your stay. There is a wonderful pizza place and also a great ice cream place nearby with plenty of options nearby.

Great, comfortable house close to Magee Marsh and many other birding destinations! Very spacious and comfortable for 3 couples. Each couple had their own bathroom which really simplified the morning routine. Plenty of seating in the living areas for playing board games or having meals together. Make sure to read the multiple page document on the fridge about the quirks of the house, it is helpful. Owners are very helpful and responsive to questions. Parking is a little tight for larger vehicles as road is narrow and not a whole lot of room to swing out and into the garage. We made it work though. Hair strainers for the tubs could use replacement and being able to open the garage from the outside would have been nice, but overall I recommend staying here and would definitely book again.

The home is well kept and clean. The location is right where we were wanting to be. Boat ramps in every direction, and the little neighborhood was cute. The beds were very comfortable, but the check in process was not good. Directions he gave for boat parking did not work. The communication from the owners were too much. He was texting me around 11PM at night about something with the thermostat. There were dirty dishes in the dishwasher when we got there, and it almost seemed like there wasn’t a turnover service…way too many chores at checkout. Nice views though and loved the area.

We thoroughly enjoyed our time here. The owners were more than helpful, even suggesting fishing spots for our son. We hope to make it back someday.
