Fisherman's cottage is ideally positioned for easy access to the beautiful town of Tobermory and is within minutes of shops and great places to eat and drink. Being tucked away it's also very quiet and peaceful. The cottage itself is comfortable and compact. A welcome pack wouldn't have gone amiss to give a bit more of a personal touch. Altogether we had a fabulous week on Mull and were lucky enough to get sightings of otters, harbour porpoises and eagles. I can also recommend a day trip to Staffa and the Treshnish Isles with Staffatours who operate out of Tobermory.

Das Fisherman Cottage besticht zunächst durch seine Lage: Mitten in Tobermory und doch sehr ruhig. Das Cottage ist liebevoll eingerichtet und im Wohnzimmer (obere Etage) stellt sich sofort ein Wohlfühleffekt ein. Von Tobermory aus lassen sich tolle Wanderungen machen - direkt Vor Ort zum Leuchtturm und zum Ardmore Point und dann zum Treshnish Point (!) einige zugegeben mit Auto oder Bus. Sehr tolle Strände: Calgary Beach oder am Ross of Mull der Kilvickeon Beach....und natürlich der Beach auf Iona...Die Besichtigung von Duart Castle ist lohnenswert ( sehr interessante Ausstellung). ... und wenn noch Zeit verbleibt dann vielleicht noch zum Laggan Sand ( Castle Moy).

Great location for everything and peaceful in the evenings easy access to great pubs serving a wide variety of food all day will definitely be back there

Fishermans Cottage is a great place to stay in Tobermory.. Located off the front behind the shops at the end of a side street. Don't be put off by the location. Although not the most picturesque it is perfectly located for access to Tobermory harbour and completely quiet in the evenings. The cottage is very well equipped and contains everything you might need during your stay. The only point worth mentioning is although there is parking outside the property I would recommend parking the car on the front in 1 of the parking bays. Access can be difficult at times, such as when the Co op supermarket has a delivery and you may be unable to drive out for some time. (Which can be inconvenient if you have a ferry to catch for example). But other than that it's a little gem and I'm sure we will be returning in the future.

Wir waren eine Woche als Familie mit unseren kleinen Kindern in dem Cottage und uns hat es super gefallen. Die Lage ist super zentral am Hafen mitten im wunderschönen Tobermory und dennoch liegt es ganz ruhig, man hört nur die vielen Möwen. Das Häuschen ist sehr persönlich und liebevoll eingerichtet, mit allem, was man braucht. Wir haben uns sofort alle wohl gefühlt. Für Menschen, die eher pingelig sind und es lieber sehr sauber und spartanisch haben möchten, ist es aber vermutlich nicht so geeignet. Wir würden es sofort wieder buchen.
