It was a great being in this lovely East Texas hideaway for a family reunion. Accommodations met all of our needs from the large kitchen, bedrooms, large living area, covered patio looking out to the lake, and a large refrigerator for all our food and drinks. One family member want to the Marshall Walmart to get fishing gear and had a blast fishing from the pier (yes, catch and release but still a delight to this young family member). Bottom line, the home and its location was perfect for our family reunion.

Loved everything about this stay except the down stairs unit did not stay cool. Kept saying clean air filter and it was about 79 most of the stay but the upstairs stayed very cool

High class beautiful home with breathtaking views on the private lake. Everything in this home is just very tasteful decorated, the kitchen has all you need. Bedrooms are spacious and the bathrooms as well. But it is also the environment, the private road going to the property alone is a wonderful place to walk your dog and see the deer crossing in front of you, also recommend a beautiful walk around the lake and of course the swimming and fishing from the private peer(please fish and release) The ample outside covered porch is a nice place to relax and watch the wildlife. Do no go look any further you will not find a beautiful home with the privacy and nature that surrounds it....plus your own lake!! Close to Marshall and specially Jefferson for visiting the Railroad Museum, "Gone with the Wind" Museum and so much more and Antiques, Antiques, Antiques. It was hard to leave back home.....

We stayed here with 3 other life long couple friends and it was the perfect place. We spent time golf carting around Jefferson and then fished and ate bbq we picked up. We all agree this may be our 1st annual trip here. Thank you to the owners, they are the best to work with!

Beautiful property. Fishing was excellent. House was exactly as described. Owners were very quick to respond to all questions.

This property is stunning and so peaceful! It was perfectly laid out for an extended family. The kitchen was well stocked and directions for everything (blinds, TVs, etc.) were well laid out. Our family wants to make this our go-to spot! The kids fished non-stop and caught several!

We are a group of adults and UT students who were filming a short by Jefferson TX. We needed a place that will hold all of us comfortably. What we didn’t expect is to find a house that is that comfortable and that beautiful. There are five spacious bedrooms where two have their own bathrooms. The kitchen is huge and top of the line with a BBQ outside. Big living room with a large flat screen. But the best thing about the house is waking up to the view of the beautiful mist covering the miniature lake just in front. The place is 100% private with an electric gate. The perfect get away for friends or a couple of families. The host couldn’t have been more helpful and fast to reply. This was definitely one of those VRBO rentals that pleasantly surprised me!

This house was great! Large and open there was plenty of room for our group of 10 to spread out and enjoy the weekend. The lake was fantastic! Caught the biggest bass I have ever caught while fishing from the dock (16+ inches) and the grandkids caught fish as well. Enjoyed the trail around the edge for our morning walks and the dog loved to wade the edges. Jefferson is just a short drive away, but we honestly didn't go in as much as we thought we would because the house was so inviting. I highly recommend this property!!

We absolutely loved our stay. The house was so warm and inviting, the host even had a gift basket for us. The pond was right outside the back door and the fishing was incredible. We caught the biggest bass and even saw two otters at play. We had such a relaxing time and any questions were answered right away by the host. We stay in alot of vrbo properties in the area and this has been our top pic yet. We definitely plan on coming back for an extended trip next spring. I highly recommend this property. So close to Jefferson and Marshall also!
