We were very pleased to stay at the Art Studio which was stocked with everything we needed.
Massy’s Supermarket which has everything anyone could want was a ten minute walk away.
Buses stopped going both ways immediately adjacent to the driveway into the property.
Best of all the beach with direct access onto it was no more than 30 metres from the bottom of the garden. During our stay we visited a good number of the Barbados beaches but thought that ours was one of the best if not the best.
There are places on the beach to buy both food and drink and even a Steel Band on Sunday Afternoons.
We rarely go back to the same place a second time, but we may return here at some point in the future.

I was a bit nervous travelling solo, but the studio was perfect, and there were other solo travelers there to chat with in the evenings.
The location was ideal, set back from the road and only 30 meters to the beach. I was able to carry a lounge chair down to the beach and just rented an umbrella from the vendor there.
The bus stops in front of the property so day trips were easy and the grocery store was a five minute walk. There are also several nice restaurants within a five minute walk. Travelling alone, I don’t often go out at night, but there is a bar at the end of the laneway with Karaoke on Thursday nights and it was a lot of fun.
The sea turtles and stingrays can be found 150 yards to the left and 150 yards out, and swimming with them was a highlight.
The kitchen is well equipped and I did eat many of my meals in the studio.
The staff is very friendly and my sheets and towels were changed regularly.
I loved it and hope to go back!!

So glad we found this listing. Close to shopping, restaurants and almost on the beach!
This apartment had everything we needed for self-catering - cozy and well maintained.
Communication was excellent with the owner and so easy to deal with.
Definitely recommend this spot for a Barbados stay if you prefer a self-catering apartment in a great location to a busy hotel.

Great vacation
We were looking for a short vacation somewhere warm with access to a beach. We have never done a VRBO before so we gave it a shot. No regrets. Alana is a great communicator. The property is well kept and had everything we needed. We were able to walk the beach in both directions for at least an hour. Groceries and restaraunts were close by withing a 10 minute walk. The pick up at the airport was super easy, Alana arranged a cab and the driver was waiting for us when we walked out. We got a tour of the island from Amigo and learned alot from him. The others who stay at The Art Studio were friendly and helpful. We recommend this place. Five Stars out of five!

Perfect location for a quiet vacation
Peaceful and private. Set in lovely gardens close to the beach. Appt well equipped , clean and homely. Can’t wait to go back

Barbados- Holetown “ The West is Best”
The friendliest staff was always there to assist. Alana was always available whenever we had a question. The unit is conveniently located steps from the beach. The beautiful part of the unit was that the bedroom was separated from kitchen area. The other guests were like family and always watched over everyone and looked after me like family as they had been coming there for many years. Having your own place on the beach right in Holetown without being tied down to restricted timelines of when food is available like the hotels is great. You can have the option of cooking or going out to eat without feeling obligated to stay in the hotel. The grounds keeper and other guests also would assist me in taking my chair to the beach. I definitely highly recommend the Art Studios. My unit was #1. Thank you to Alana, the staff, and all the amazing guests.

We loved our stay!
We had a lovely week long stay at Alana’s Art Studio property. The apartment had everything we needed. It was very comfortable and was cleaned daily with fresh sheets and towels provided regularly. The location could not have been more perfect! There was a beautiful white sand beach behind the property with perfect swimming conditions and you could walk a long way in both directions. In front of the property was all that Holetown had to offer - lots of shops and fantastic restaurants as well as a big grocery store all within a ten minute walk. We will definitely be back!

Comfortable and well supplied
Having stayed at #1 Art Studios both before and after Alana has taken charge, we can say we have never been disappointed with the standard offered. The apartment offers all we need.

A beautiful rental! Everything I wanted!!
A fantastic and well equipped studio! Everything I wanted and more!! Alana was very communicative prior to my arrival. I definitely will stay again!

Best vacation, amazing location!
Just returned from an amazing trip to Holetown. The art studio apartment was perfect for our stay. It had everything we needed from a well appointed kitchen so we could cook meals, to a comfortable bedroom, as well as a sitting room. The cleaning staff were very friendly and helpful. Helena and Mechelle cleaned the apartment daily as well as made the bed and refreshed the towels (which was great!) The best thing about the apartment is the LOCATION!! It is just steps away from the spectacular beach which is breathtakingly beautiful. It was great to have access to beach chairs, umbrellas, and snorkeling gear as the coral and fish were amazing to look at. It is also walking distance to town, shopping, and great restaurants (for all budgets). The grocery store is a quick walk away and very convenient. Papa Earls was delicious and conveniently located just down the street (also helped keep our meal budget down... his portions are huge and super affordable). Hands down one of the best vacations and locations my husband and I have ever been to. We look forward to returning and hope we can find a vacancy to book this apartment again!
